MBR PARDUOTUVIU IR RESTORANU IRANGA MBR PARDUOTUVIU IR RESTORANU IRANGA is a joint Lithuanian/German venture which is engaged in installing fittings and supplying equipment to food and non-food shops, restaurants, bars, bakeries, etc. The company was founded in 1993 and in a period of six years it has opened three offices in Lithuania: Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda; an office in St Petersburg (Russia), Minsk (Belarus) and the Kaliningrad region (Russia). Its main office is in Vilnius and has a 3000 square metre warehouse, showroom, joiner's shop and cold room factory. MBR has more than 50 employees including trade agents, designers, technologists, book-keepers, service masters, etc. In 1996, MBR bought German equipment for manufacturing tailored fittings using a wooden plate. The company designer planned every unit for confectionery and culinary shops, non-food shops, bar counters, etc. In 1998, the company bought a cold rooms producing line in Italy and installed it in its factory in Lithuania. It now produces a range of cold rooms which it delivers to the biggest shopping chains in Lithuania and Western Europe. In 1999, MBR started to manufacture stainless steel fittings for all kitchen and assistant premises. This was exported to Germany through the company's German partners. MBR has installed fittings for some of the biggest shopping chains as well as some of the smaller ones in Lithuania, Belarus and Russia, and in a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars. It has been working with big firms/producers from Italy and Germany such as MBM, OSCARTIELLE, IFI, CMA, RATIONAL, etc. The close contacts with firms/producers and trainers in the factories enable MBR to achieve improved quality and work results. MBR is proud of its long work practices, excellent specialists and good technologies. But, of course, the competition is relentless - it does not allow the company to stop and savour its results. Every day demands increased effort and new ideas to go farther and produce good results. It is for this reason that MBR is open to collaborating with firms that would like to start working in the Lithuanian market and also in the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) market. It has very serious plans in Russia and the Kaliningrad region which is a free zone. The goods produced in this zone and certificated as Russian products can be imported into all Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries without customs duties, which can reach as much as 30 per cent.
