The recently launched Switzerland Conference and Incentive Club is inviting UK professional conference organisers and corporate decision makers to join the loyalty programme designed to provide business and personal benefits to all its members.

The Club is an innovative concept for Switzerland Tourism, the first tourist office to launch such a loyalty programme. It is aimed at increasing the share of the competitive international meetings and conventions business for Switzerland.

As with traditional loyalty programmes, organisers who book conferences or meetings in Switzerland or even group bookings for flights on Swissair will benefit from the opportunity to collect points. The awards offered include personal or team gifts such as a mountain bike or a case of Swiss Champagne. In addition, the programme has been designed to provide alternative awards for the Club members organisation. Additional benefits for Club members include free Swiss travel system passes which offer first class travel on trains, boats and even some of the mountain trains as well as free accommodation on venue site visits.

Club members are initially supplied with a Club card and an introductory welcome kit which is packed with information and contact details for hotels, convention centres, incentive ideas, delegate management companies, carriers and tourist offices throughout Switzerland. Members will be updated during the year by means of Elite, which will be a glossy style and culture magazine giving first hand inside knowledge about Switzerland. They will also receive newsletters providing up-to-the-minute news on the hotels, resorts and services participating in the Club and offering special preferential rates to Club members. As a taste of the potential awards on offer, the first 2,000 Club members will receive a complimentary Victorinox Swiss Army Knife.
